2008 Colorado Elk Archery Hunting & Scenery – Rocky Mountain Adventure
Take a hike high in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains in search of elk. If you like the Colorado high country, hunting (not only killing) and the sights & sounds of the Rocky Mountains, I hope you’ll delight in this video. I also included a picture of the doe antelope I killed Sept. 1.

Hey this is clean! Fantastic Job!
keep up the videos………you do an outstanding job.
Awesome, I hunt unit 47 for elk and 33 for deer usually. I got a cam for this season I’m hoping to get some nice footage this year. I’m hoping to take my first bull. Your videos really show what hunting is all about!!! Have fun this year man I sure will…
Thanks for visiting! I’m sorry it took so long to answer. One of my friends will be coming with me this year with the sole purpose of being the camera man. It’s my hope to post many videos from September – December, God willing. Thanks for the nice comment and make sure to stop by this fall.

Hi there! I’m sorry it took so long to get back to you. We have two young children (age 2 and age 5 months) so there’s not much time to get on youtube! Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words. I hear British Columbia is gorgeous. I’ve been to Alberta (Waterton Park) but would very much like to spend time in British Columbia. Thanks again for blessing me with the kind words. Excellent luck hunting this year!!!
Howdy! Thanks for stopping by. I’m also getting ready for the season. I typically hunt in unit 37 but have also spent lots of time hunting up north of Craig (Black Mountain area) as well. Excellent luck this year!
hell yeah nice video…getting ready for archery season in about 3 weeks, can’t wait. what unit do you hunt???
This is an awesome video. I know how much extra work that must have been for you. I live in British Columbia, Canada and get to see the Rockies first hand. It’s nice to see a fellow hunter who puts in so much effort and has such a respect for the outdoors. It’s not all about shooting some steroid fed animal who eats out of the palm of your hand. Thanks for the video it was fantastic to watch!!
To “HUNT” is success.
Awesome scenery! I like your vids. Keep making them.
Wow man, you really know how to do it! And I can really relate to the experience and the scenery being just a part of the hunt as seeing, let alone harvesting an animal. Fantastic video, fantastic footage. Reminded me of my dad’s and my ancient hunting spot in Idaho, especially with all the ancient cabins and shacks in the middle of the high country wilderness.
Thanks for stopping by. Pleased Hunting.
You made fantastic video. I hope God continues to give you more opportunities like this one in the future.
Very Cool
Fantastic elk country scenery
